About the Client

Aldia is a fruit processing company specialized in the production and commercialization of premium fruit fillings, jams and glazes. With a strong focus on quality and consistency, the company operates in an environment where structured documentation and controlled quality processes are essential.

The Challenge

Aldia has been using Diasonline for years to manage its documents and information. As their processes evolved, they identified opportunities to further automate repetitive actions and reduce manual data entry.

Certain processes require users to create an entrypoint containing specific information. Based on the type of folder and the information it contains, additional actions then need to take place. Such as creating a related document, linking information together and adding the correct metadata.

Previously, these steps required manual intervention. This meant additional administrative work and created more room for inconsistencies or missed steps. Aldia needed a way to make these processes more structured and automatic.

The Solution

Together with Aldia, we extended their existing Diasonline environment with a rule-based automation flow.

The logic is simple: when a specific type of folder is created, Diasonline automatically triggers the actions defined for that process.

For example:

A folder of type X is created → a document of type Y is automatically created → both are linked → predefined custom fields on the new document are automatically populated with the required values.

This allows Aldia to translate their existing business rules into automated workflows, while keeping the process fully structured within their existing document management environment.
